Courtney, I stumbled upon your blog today and had to laugh at how correct you are about over serving. I am no longer in the restaurant business full time, but I love to keep up with what is going on. I was the FOH manager for Mary Swortwood at both Tink's and Brown Dog, so I know the space at La Poste well. I am amazed at how often being over served happens. Managers and owners need to remember that the over all dining experience does not stop at the table. For me, if a restaurant is to cold can make a wonderful meal disappointing. Good luck to you with everything you do. I will keep my eye on you for great things to come!

Hi Courtney.

I am writing an article on Columbia Tusculum and was fortunate enough to meet your husband. He led me to your blog and I have to tell you I really enjoy your subjects, recipes and writing style.

I'll keep coming back even after the article is finished!

So glad Lauren 'outed' your blog. I think it's brilliant! The blog itself is beautifully laid-out and your pictures are goregous. Your postings are so interesting and I loved reading that you followed your passion and started in culinary school.

Good luck with everything! Thanks for sharing your adventures with the rest of us!
