Cincinnati Deconstructed is an original video series profiling the people behind the food and dining scene in Cincinnati.
First imagined by local film director Michael Holder and me back in December 2011, we set out to give viewers a rare behind-the-scenes peek into the lives of chefs, restaurateurs, bartenders, owners, farmers and others who make our food community such a vibrant and exciting place.
After directing and editing 3 episodes featuring Molly Wellmann (Japp’s), Jean-Francois Flechet (Taste of Belgium) and Owen Maass (Cumin and M), Michael moved on to focus on other projects. But he left me with a great gift – the framework for a video series unlike any other to continue making and sharing with you.
Today, production continues with the help of talented film director, Chaske Haverkos. In addition to being featured on this site, you can catch all episodes of Cincinnati Deconstructed on downtown Cincinnati’s Fountain Square jumbotron, SoapBox Media and Cincinnati.com.
Stay tuned for fresh episodes. We hope you like them.
